This exhibition is the first on-ground iteration of our small_bars research project curating materials related to FARMAN.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 42px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=3104691586\/size=small\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/transparent=true\/\" seamless=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/smallbars.bandcamp.com\/album\/end-times-shake-s-b-archival-materials\">End Times Shake (s_b archival materials) by small_bars<\/a><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>FARMAN was a group of three multi-instrumentalists living in and around the Dayton, Ohio, area in the late 1990\u2019s and early 2000\u2019s.&nbsp; Currently, all known recorded output is documented on magnetic tape and through a collection of printed ephemera, while details of their personnel remain scant.&nbsp; From the existing materials, we can assume that the group existed with a public presence from at least late 1999, with all known activities ceasing in the winter of 2001.&nbsp; During this short time, the group managed to participate in a fairly prolific performance schedule within the middle-west region and beyond.&nbsp; Despite a fairly extensive trail of concert activity, there exists only one improvised (assumed live bootleg) recording as well as a five-song EP titled \u201cEnd Times Shake.\u201d (2000).&nbsp; <\/p>\n<cite>Taken from the materials catalog (zine artifact):<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/21-saU7_TVg?si=NobRSRTuFnWxfm0l\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>The above video contains the FARMAN audio, joined with a video composite of our own creation.
